CERIT-SC is one of two established research centres at Institute of Computer Science. The core of its funding comes from the funding programme of large Research Infrastructures by Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports of the Czech Republic, with minor co-funding by Masaryk University. This is complemented by participation in further infrastructure as well as research projects. The wide portfolio of funding sources together with the background of Masaryk University forms the necessary financial stability of the centre.
